Clinker Boats

I’ve added a page to the site describing a small boat that I’ve owned for many years: ‘Corianne’ was probably built in North Shetland sometime in the 1950s and is a small version of this very seaworthy double-ended style that is very popular in the islands. I know nothing of her builder or much history prior to acquiring her in the mid 1980s., but she’s been a much loved boat for both me and now my wife and she’ll be getting a full refit very soon.
